Do these people do commisions? Im making a small game for XNA and I might want some VA's in about a year or so. To put it bluntly, quite cheap because itll be coming out of my own pocket.

Most AVAs are more than willing to take commissions, and will understand if you honestly can't pay much as long as you openly state that in your audition posts.

I was on VA a bit when I was more active in my acting. With things the way they are, I haven't had chance to do much performing ^^;. But like Azure said, all VA's are willing to do commissions. A lot are in it for the fun of the performance, and even in live stage performances, actors tend to work for peanuts until they can get a good break.

We're currently asking the online community for some of their best audio work to put towards our website's show-reel. If you'd like to be a part of it simply sign up and read the instructions as shown here.

I see Azure's popped back in here (you coming this year too?) :)

Quick question, is this website in anyway affiliated with http://voiceactingal...board/index.php (which was a UK based VA website back in the day) - split from VAA or spawned from VAA?

Or is it totally independant?
If it's the similar set up of pple posting auditions, we trying them out, the forum supporting, criqtiquing and giving advice, then may not mind joining this ontop of VAA anyways.
(Although to be honest, haven't actually gotten to applying at auditions, just browsing them) >_>

It's separate since it pretty much became impossible for me to stay at the VAA and actually get anything done. The set up is similar in that we have auditions ( many of which are not on the VAA) but we also have stuff like the VA directory/ free voice acting resume page ( create it inyour profile) and a proper website.
