I sent an email over a week ago about cancelling my membership: a fortuitous trip to Japan only last month means my pockets are empty! And my shelves full of shinies. I am worried because GMail doesn't have delivery receipts, which were required in the FAQ. I noticed I am still listed as a member, which worries me as well as I wouldn't want GMail being sucky meaning someone on the waiting list misses out! My husband got in to Amecon a few years ago due to last minute cancellations, and I hope to allow someone to attend too.

I've PM-ed the FAQ recommended contacts about this, but I should imagine that the closeness of the con means they are supremely busy and have no time for the forum! So if someone can just say quickly "no worries, email received, former waiting listee now jumping for joy" I'd be very grateful. Good luck for another awesome Amecon, and hopefully see you all next time

btw Onsen episodes? Just as awesome in real life as in anime
