AmeChibi postponed

After reviewing the Covid-19 situation, the committee has decided to postpone AmeChibi until the 16th-18th of April 2021. This was not an easy decision to come to, but we feel that in order to offer you the safest and best possible event, we are unable to run this summer.


We understand that not everyone will be able to attend the event on it’s new dates, if members cannot attend, they are entitled to a refund. Should a member require a refund, they should email with their membership details.

Full refunds (excluding payment gateway fees) will be available until 12th October 2020. After this date refunds will be processed as outlined in our revised terms and conditions.

Accommodation changes (on site)

The Park Inn Hotel offered to move not only the event booking but also all hotel room bookings:

  • Accommodation bookings at the Park Inn made using the link sent in registrations email, have been automatically moved to the new dates. It’s recommended you check your booking has moved successfully
  • Members who chose to book directly (without the AmeCon booking reference), will need to contact the venue directly to see if their booking can be moved

Accommodation refunds (on site)

The Park Inn Hotel will offer a full refund to anyone who has booked with the AmeCon reference code (Via the link sent in the registration email). Please contact the hotel for the refund.

Members with bookings made directly without the reference code will need to contact the venue to see if they are eligible for a refund.

Things members should check/do

  • Check that your ID will still be valid for the revised event dates
  • If you have registered on a member’s behalf, ensure they are aware of these changes
  • If you booked accommodation off site, you will need to arrange any changes

Affected Event Runners, Gophers and dealers will be contacted in due course.
