With just over two weeks until registration for our next event we are pleased to show off our new website theme. As AmeChibi is taking place alongside the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Ame-chan is celebrating by following a sporty theme in her style choices.

Alongside the launch of our website we have some important information we can share with you:

User accounts

Following AmeCon 2018, to comply with GDPR, we have deleted all prior site user accounts. You will need to sign up for a website account again before you can reserve your membership to AmeChibi 2020.

You’ll want to do this before October 1st as registration goes live at 8pm. After much discussion the committee decided to open registration at this time so the largest possible number of committee members can be available to offer support during the initial registration period.

Membership prices

Membership costs for AmeChibi 2020 will be:

• £59.50 - Regular membership

No premium membership options are offered for AmeChibi 2020. However, for those members who like the convention-specific merchandise from those memberships, we are looking at ways of making it available to those who want it.

Accommodation

The on-site hotel room rates we have been offered are as follows:

Standard room:

• £73 - no breakfast
• £80 - with breakfast

Superior room:

• £83 - no breakfast
• £90 - with breakfast

These rates include VAT and are on a ‘per night’ basis and represent an average of 55.5% discount on the hotel’s standard rates for the weekend.
